LYBA to hold baseball sign-ups
The Lumberton Youth Baseball Association will hold spring registration for Dixie Youth and Babe Ruth baseball from 6-8 p.m. at the Bill Sapp Recreation Center's Teen Room. Registration will continue through Friday, during normal recreation center hours.
Registration costs $25. Eligible players must be age 7 prior to May 1 and cannot turn age 16 before that date.
LYBA is also seeking interested baseball coaches. For additional information, contact Scott Graham at 671-3869.

Lumberton hosts March Madness
LUMBERTON - The Lumberton Recreation Department will sponsor a March Madness Men’s Basketball Tournament (double-elimination) on March 23-25 at Lumberton High School.
Team entry fee is $100 with a maximum of 10 players on each team roster. Players must be 18 years old with valid ID. Awards will also be given to the 1st and 2nd place teams. For more information or to register, please contact Scott Graham at 671-3869 or email at [email protected].

T-Ball, Softball sign-ups
LUMBERTON - The Lumberton Recreation Department is holding registration for girls and boys T-ball and girls softball.
T-ball is open for players ages 5-6. Player must be 5, cannot be 7 on/by April 30.
Coach-pitch softball is for girls ages 7-8. Player must be 7, cannot be 9 on/by April 30.
For pigtail softball, players must be ages 9-12. They must be 9, cannot be 13 on/by April 30.
For ponytail, ages 13-15. Player must be 13 and cannot be 16 on/by April 30.
Registration will be held at Bill Sapp Center and Parkview Activity Center through March 30, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Registration fee is $10 and copy of birth certificate is needed for first time participants.

Free volleyball clinics in March
LUMBERTON - The Lumberton Recreation Department will be sponsoring free volleyball clinics for girls ages 8-13 on each Sunday in March from 2-4 p.m. at the Bill Sapp Gym.
Current Lumberton High and UNC-Pembroke volleyball players will demonstate basic volleyball skills. For more information, please contact Scott Graham at 671-3869.
