Maxton
Master Kenyan Dale &#8220Little Dale” Bradley Oxendine, 1, of Maxton, died Jan. 21, 2007, in an automobile accident.
The funeral will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at Little Zion Free Will Baptist Church in Maxton. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Oxendine was born Nov. 25, 2005, in Marion County, S.C., son of Anthony B. Oxendine and Raquel Hunt Oxendine.
The family said: &#8220He was a precious little one with a smile that would light the world.”
He was preceded in death by a brother, Zackery Taylor Hunt.
Along with his parents, surviving are three brothers, Garret Chavis, Kegan Hunt and Shane Hunt, all of Maxton; two sisters, Jasmine Oxendine and Olivia Oxendine, both of Maxton; maternal grandfather, James Hunt and his wife, Nancy, of Burgaw; maternal stepgrandmother, Geneva Hunt of Rowland; maternal grandmother, Linda Schuler and her husband, Robert, of Sarasota, Fla.; paternal grandparents, Lee Roy and Mary Hazel Oxendine of Maxton; maternal great-grandmother, Geneva Clark of Fairmont; and special godparents, Lee Albert and Helen Carol Barefoot of Maxton.
Memorials may be made to the family at P.O. Box 1913, Laurinburg, N.C., 28353.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 tonight at Richard Boles Funeral Service in Laurinburg.
