As a recent former teacher at RSHS I must say that the school has been cleaned up immensely under the leadership of Mr. Ryberg. The overall design of the school is not that of a safe building. Too many doors which can be opened any time by any one. Logistically it would be a challenge at best to have metal detectors on every entry every day. No doubt both girls are wrong, and I personally believe that a high school student, no matter their age, should if necessary, be charged and tried as adults. The school system can charge them, but the PARENTS of the injured can press charges, and I believe would be justified in doing so. Once again a case of PARENTS taking the time to be involved and invest in the schools!
