Lumber Bridge
Preston Legurther “Tuddie Bug” McArthur Wright, 67, of 360 Quick Road, died March 11, 2006, at Sunbridge Nursing Home in Pembroke.
The funeral will be 3 p.m. Saturday at Oakridge Missionary Baptist Church in Lumber Bridge, the Rev. Stanley Richardson officiating. Burial will follow at Community Rest Cemetery in Red Springs.
Surviving are his wife, Gladys McDonald McArthur Wright of Raeford; a son, Legurther “Red Man” McArthur Wright of Raeford; a daughter, Geraldine McArthur Wright of Raeford; two brothers, Willie “Fuzzy” McArthur of Red Springs and Jerome McArthur of Lumber Bridge; three sisters, Carolyn Morgan, Eleanor Torrey and Jean Clark, all of Lumber Bridge; six grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
The viewing will be from 2 to 7:30 p.m. today at L.E. Floyd Funeral Home in Red Springs.
