LUMBERTON Palmer Prevention Inc. will be holding its 13th annual Red Ribbon Luncheon on Thursday at noon at the Southeastern Agriculture Center and Farmers Market.
The focus of this years luncheon will be convenience stores selling K-2 (synthetic marijuana) to youth. The keynote speaker will be Charles Graham, CEO of Stars Youth Academy.
Individual tickets may be purchased for $30. Tickets for a table of four can be purchased for $100 and tickets for a table of eight are $150.

LUMBERTON The annual Kiwanis Pancake Festival will be held on Nov. 12 and Nov. 13 at the Bill Sapp Recreation Center. All money raised will be used to support charities and agencies that benefit children in Robeson County.
Advance tickets are $6 each and are good for all-you-can-eat pancakes and sausage from 5 to 8 p.m. on Nov. 12 and 7 to 9 a.m. on Nov. 13.
Tickets can be purchased from any club member.
