LUMBERTON — The Boys & Girls Club will host its sixth annual duck race on July 12 at 11 a.m. at Stephens Park.
Each duck costs $25 to rent. The contributions are tax deductible. The first place winner could win up to $2,000 and a two-night stay at the Carolina House Bed & Breakfast in Washington.

LUMBERTON — Free HIV/syphilis testing will be provided from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Soaring Eagle Community Building off Norment Road on Friday.
Southern Regional Medical Center will also offer free cholesterol, blood pressure and glucose testing. Incentives will be provided to all who participate.
