Duffy: Nike creates art with ad

Can you call a commercial art?
If beauty is truly in the eye of the beholder, then anything can be art.
Which is beautiful, because I love Nike’s new art.
Nike commercials are great, always have been. But the company’s newest creation is brilliant. Nike, along with the Wieden + Kennedy agency, has brought us something called “Fate.”
It shows, chronologically, the ascent of San Diego running back Ladainian Tomlinson and Pittsburgh safety Troy Polamalu from pee-wee kids to NFL stars.
The commercial has W+K written all over it, but you wouldn’t know unless you looked it up. The company is responsible for several Nike commercials
