Stacy “Son” Locklear, 78, of Pembroke, died Friday at Southeastern Regional Medical Center.
The funeral will be at 3 p.m. Tuesday at Bear Swamp Baptist Church, the Revs. Timmie Chavis and Timmie Woods officiating. Burial will follow at the Lowery family cemetery.
Locklear was born in Robeson County on Oct. 6, 1924.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Lester Locklear and Effie A. Worriax, both of Lumberton; three sisters, Grace Locklear, Eula Mae Brooks and Addie Locklear; and two brothers, Tracey Locklear and Lester Locklear Jr.
Surviving are his wife, Macie Locklear of the home; two sons, Larry Stacy Locklear and Terry Lynn Locklear, both of the home; a daughter, Darlene Woods of Pembroke; three brothers, Lacy Locklear and Alton Locklear, both of Lumberton, and Raebeard Locklear of Charlotte; three sisters, Vashtie Lowery and Hattie Sanderson, both of Lumberton, and Daisey Locklear of Pembroke; a son-in-law, the Rev. Timmie Woods of Pembroke; three grandchildren, Samantha Lynn Woods, Timothy Lynn Woods and Sonya Woods, all of Pembroke; and a stepgrandchild, Tabatha Lynn Woods of Pembroke.
The visitation will be from 7 to 9 tonight at Revels Funeral Home in Lumberton.
