Ruth McNeill Campbell, 78, of 631 W. Fourth Ave., died March 16, 2005, at Southeastern Regional Medical Center.
The funeral will be 1 p.m. Saturday at Missionary Baptist Church in Red Springs, the Rev. Joseph Simpson officiating. Burial will follow at Community Rest Cemetery in Red Springs.
Surviving are seven sons, Lacy Campbell Jr. of Red Springs, Thurman Campbell of Raleigh, Martin Campbell Sr. and Elex Campbell, both of Red Springs, Daniel Campbell of Durham, James B. Campbell of Hope Mills and Dennis Campbell of Yorktown, Va.; five daughters, Eula C. McNeill of Red Springs, Eddye Faye Murray of Red Springs, Betty R. Goodyear of Red Springs, Ella C. Flowers of Manassas, Va., and Mollie C. Williams of Red Springs; three brothers, Isaiah McNeill of Arlington, Va., William C. McNeill of Worchester, Mass., and Enoch McNeill of Red Springs; five sisters, Henrietta Campbell of Red Springs, Clara Oliver of Red Springs, Beulah Armstrong of Red Springs, Annie Chambers of Glen Burnie, Md. and Angela Loveless of Durham; 23 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 2 to 6:30 p.m. today at L.E. Floyd Funeral Home in Red Springs.
