Rosalee Huggins Lemmond, 84, of Dillon, S.C., died in the Pines Nursing Home, Dec. 10, 2010.
The funeral services are at 3 p.m. Monday, with entombment in Greenlawn Cemetery, directed by Kannaday Funeral Home.
Mrs. Lemmond was born in Marietta, N.C., the daughter of the late Ethel Leola Huggins and Grady Neil Huggins and was the widow of Edward Maurice “Nick” Lemmond. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Dillon, was a Registered Nurse and was the founder and previous owner and administrator of the Pines Nursing Home.
She was predeceased by her sister, Marie Sealey.
She is survived by two sons, Maurice Lemmond of Florence, and Steve (Liz) Lemmond of Columbia; a daughter, Rosemary (John) Whittington of Rowland, NC; eight grandchildren, Crystal Whittington (husband, Ryan Ford), Karen Whittington, Emily Lemmond, Sarah Lemmond, Jennifer Lemmond, Amanda Lemmond, Jonathan Lemmond and Kelsey Lemmond; four great-grandchildren; she is also survived by a sister, Doretha Cole of Little River.
The visitation is from 6 to 8 tonight at Kannaday Funeral Home in Dillon.
