RALEIGH The 36th annual North Carolina Indian Unity Conference will be held on March 10 through March 12 at the Hilton North Raleigh.
American Indian artists can enter their work into sponsor United Tribes of North Carolinas art show Matters of the Heart, which will run March 10 and March 11. Two- and three-dimensional works are accepted, including pottery, sculptures, basketry, gourds, painting, beading, jewelry, photography and textiles. Artists are expected to attend a reception on March 10 at 5:30 p.m. There is no entry fee.

LUMBERTON The monthly meeting for the Grandparents Raising Grandchildren support group will be held at 11 a.m. on Feb. 16 at the O.P. Owens Agriculture Center.
The meeting is open to any grandparent raising grandchildren. Refreshments will be provided.
