Tommie Tom Locklear, 53, of 180 Welton Road, Pembroke, died Oct. 3, 2009.
The funeral will be 2 p.m. Monday at Union Chapel Holiness Methodist
Church, the Rev. Willie Scott officiating. Burial will follow in the
Locklear family cemetery.
Locklear was preceded in death by his first wife, Betty; and a sister,
He is survived by his wife, Cheryl A. Locklear of the home; a son,
Tommy Shannon Locklear and wife Jessica, both of the Prospect
community; a daughter, Crystal Dawn Haggins and husband Danny Ray,
both of Pembroke; four step-children, Shannon Cobbler of Greensboro,
Jay Cobbler of Kernersville, Bobby Ray Parrish of Summerfield, and
Shandi Rodriguez and Vicente, both of Winston-Salem; five
grandchildren, Danny (Traye), Keely, Cody, Jacob and Katlin; seven
step-grandchildren, Selena, Mahala, Chepe, Isaiah, Laura, Taylor and
Jesus Robert; his mother and father, Ula Locklear and Rodney Locklear,
both of Pembroke; three brothers, Larry, Chucky and Jimmy, all of
Pembroke; four sisters, Gail Locklear, Anita Locklear, Susie Hammonds
and Mona Lisa Locklear, all of Pembroke; a special nephew, Rodrick;
and a host of nieces, nephews, friends and relatives.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 tonight at Revels Funeral
Home in Pembroke.
