Thanksgiving is a traditional day of eating and maybe overeating for many Americans. But for some local people, it will be just another day of wondering what to eat, not how much.
”Hunger is a year-round reality here in St. Pauls,” said Kimberley Nesmith, the HR director at Mueller Steam Specialties, and chair of the company’s Social Committee. “While many of us are thinking ahead to sumptuous Thanksgiving meals, some of us are concerned about the people here who have little or no food, now or for the holiday. So we decided to take action, and do what we could.”
