n Stolen items

LUMBERTON — Luldes Torres, 29, of Watauga Street, reported Tuesday that someone took $300 cash and a $200 GPS from her vehicle, according to a police report.

LUMBERTON — Danny Sampson, 22, of Floyd Avenue, reported Tuesday that someone entered his home through a rear window and took several items, according to a police report.

Missing were: a $400 Xbox; six $60 Xbox games; two $100 Xbox controllers; $80 in coins; $95 cash; and a $20 back pack.

LUMBERTON — Courtney Kim, 23, of McArthur Street, reported Tuesday that someone kicked in the front door of her home and took an $800 Toshiba computer and a $250 iPod, according to a police report.

n Rifle taken

LUMBERTON — Steven Santiago, 27, of Pinecrest Circle, reported Tuesday that someone stole an AK-47 assault rifle from his storage shed, according to a police report. The value of the rifle is $400.

Santiago told police that the person tried to gain entry to his home but could not.

n A/C theft

LUMBERTON — Ernest Britt, 61, of Stirling Drive, reported Tuesday that someone removed the air conditioning units from the windows of a residence at 14th Street, according to a police report.

Britt reported that the total value of the units at $250.

n Cash taken

LUMBERTON — Catherine Gruber, 42, of Cerro Gordo, reported Tuesday that someone took a wallet containing $800 cash from her purse while she was at Walmart, according to a police report.

n Thief at CVS

LUMBERTON — Terry Gerald, 50, an employee of CVS Pharmacy on Fayetteville Road, reported Tuesday that a woman put $215.99 worth of cosmetic items into her purse and left the store without paying, according to a police report.

Gerald described the woman as American Indian, approximately 40 years old, 5 feet 5 inches tall, and 230 pounds. She was wearing a red dress.

n Vehicle break-in

LUMBERTON — Betty Van-Scyoc, 65, of Seventh Street, reported Tuesday that someone broke into her vehicle at Bo’s Foods Store and took her purse, containing $152 in cash and $800 of medication, according to a police report.

n Theft attempt

LUMBERTON — Deano Kerns, of Victory Christian Fellowship, reported Tuesday that someone tried to cut the copper wire from the air conditioning units at the church, according to a police report.

Kerns told police it was the second time in two weeks that someone attempted to steal the wire. He reported $250 in damages.
