Police capture ‘Bug’

LUMBERTON - Police arrested Alex Junior &#8220Bug” Stephens Wednesday and charged with him with multiple drug crimes.
According to police, Stephens escaped authorities on Nov. 2 after throwing 2 ounces of cocaine out a car window on Edgewood Street off of Elizabethtown Road.
Stephens, 28, of 116 Dresden Ave., was charged with felony trafficking cocaine by possession, trafficking by transport, manufacturing crack cocaine, possession with intent to sell and deliver crack cocaine, resisting arrest and driving with a revoked license.
Stephens was jailed on a $101,000 bond.
A convicted drug dealer, Stephens has nearly a dozen trafficking drug charges pending. On Nov. 2, he was out on a $100,000 bond from an arrest in December 2004.
