Johnnie Belton Hines, 57, of 213 N.C. 71, Maxton, died Thursday at Sandhills Regional Hospsital in Hamlet.
The funeral will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at St. George United Methodist Church in Maxton, the Rev. Robert A. Fairley officiating. Burial will follow at the Piney Grove United Methodist Church Cemetery in Maxton.
Surviving are his wife, Naomi Hines of the home; two sons, Kenyatta Hines of Durham, and Johnny Marcus Hines of Ft. Bragg; a daughter, Nina Hines of Durham; three stepbrothers, James Barnes of Hillside, N.J., Richard Barnes and Lee Benton Barnes, both of Newark, N.J.; two brothers, James Hines of Jacksonville, Fla., and Robert Hines of Maxton; three stepsisters, Delia Quaison and Emma Barnes, both of Maxton, and Louise Baldwin of Hillside, N.J.; two sisters, Trucy Farve of Clarksville, Tenn., and Queen Graham of Fayetteville; and four grandchildren.
The family will receive friends tonight from 6 to 8 at Carrie Hester Funeral Service in Maxton.
