Red Springs
Earl Locklear, 69, of 3812 Old Lowery Road, died April 20, 2005, at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center in Fayetteville.
The funeral will be 3 p.m. Saturday at Shannon Assembly of God on N.C. 71 in Shannon. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Locklear was born Aug. 24, 1935, in Robeson County. He was a farmer and a faithful member of the Shannon Assembly of God.
Surviving are his wife, Mary Locklear of the home; two daughters, Carol Tyler of Red Springs and Cathy Trinidad of Cave Creek, Ariz.; a special son, Tony Clark of Red Springs; a special daughter, Debbie Chavis of Wakulla; three brothers, Carl Glenn Locklear of Rennert, the Rev. Roy Clark of Red Springs and Talford Dial of Pembroke; two sisters, Ella Frances Locklear and Jeanette Clark, both of Pembroke; and two grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 tonight at the church.
