Football camp taking registration
LUMBERTON - The Lumberton Football Association will begin taking registration today for this summer's Mike Brill Football Clinic.
Registration, which will be $75 per player, will remain open until April 30 for players ages 6-12.
The camp will last from June 25-28. It will be hosted by Brill, the Lumberton High football coach, at Lumberton's Alton Brooks Stadium.
NFL players Vonta Leach and Sean Locklear are expected to attend.

T-Ball, softball sign-ups set
LUMBERTON - The Lumberton Recreation Department is holding registration for girls softball.
Coach-pitch softball is for girls ages 7-8. A player must be 7 or 8 years old on or by April 30.
For ponytail, a player must be 9 to 15 year olds on or by April 30.
Registration will be held at Bill Sapp Center and Parkview Activity Center through today, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day. Registration fee is $10 and copy of birth certificate is needed for first time participants.

LYBA to hold Babe Ruth sign-ups
LUMBERTON - The Lumberton Youth Baseball Association will hold sign-ups for Babe Ruth baseball on April 17 and April 19 from 6-8 p.m. at Bill Sapp Recreation Center.
Players can also sign up during the recreation center's regular office hours.
The registration fee is $25. Players must be age 13 by May 1 and cannot be age 16 before May 1.
