LUMBERTON — Curtis Juan Haywood, 18, of 220 Jordan Drive in Lumberton, was arrested Wednesday and charged with felony robbery with a dangerous weapon, police said.
Haywood was jailed under a $75,000 secured bond.

LUMBERTON — William Paul Hunt, 27, of 2311 Marshall St., Lumberton, was arrested Monday and charged with misdemeanor failure to appear, felony statutory rape and second-degree kidnapping, police said.
Hunt was jailed under a $70,000 secured bond.

LUMBERTON — An employee of KFC located at 520 W. Second St. reported Monday that someone attempted to pay for items with a counterfeit $20 bill.
According to a police report, the clerk received the note that felt and looked fake. The clerk showed it to the manager, at which time the person who used the fake $20 drove off with the food.
