Marjorie M. Clapp, of Lumberton, died Jan. 29, 2010, in Woodhaven Nursing Home.
A memorial was Monday at the Chestnut Street United Methodist Church, the Rev. Steve Little officiated.
She was born in Rushford, N.Y., on March 15, 1921, a daughter of the late Carl and Ruth Gordon.
Clapp was a member of the First Baptist Church in Rushford, and a retired secretary with the Cuba, N.Y., school system.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward D. Clapp; three brothers, Lou Gordon, Bryon Gordon, and Donald Gordon; and a sister, Pearl Tullar.
Surviving are a son, Cavin D. Clapp and wife, Corales, both of Lumberton; two grandchildren, Ryan Clapp and Kristin Clapp; a sister, Eleanor Mort of Orlando, Fla.; several nieces and nephews; several great-nieces and great-nephews; and several great-great-nieces and great-great-nephews.
