St. Pauls stuns Gray’s Creek

ST. PAULS - Tony Pone rushed for 178 yards and two touchdowns, and caught a pass for a touchdown, to lead the St. Pauls Bulldogs to a stunning 36-35 win over Gray's Creek.
The Bulldogs blocked a point after with seconds left in the game to preserve the win.
The win gives St. Pauls, 2-2, a two-game winning streak. For Gray's Creek, it is the first loss of the season.
Pone picked up his 178 yards on 24 carries. Terrance McNeill added 128 yards on just three carries and Cedric Graham had 78 yards on seven carries.
The game stayed close throughout, as St. Pauls carried a 20-14 lead into halftime.
In the third quarter, each team scored, but the Bulldogs added a two-point conversion to take a 28-20 edge.
Gray's Creek scored twice in the final quarter, but the blocked kick sealed the win for St. Pauls.
