Bobby Clark Hayes, 73, of 1104 Williams St., died May 8, 2007.
The funeral will be 1 p.m. Friday at Grandview Memorial Park on Cherry Road, the Rev. Ken Lakes officiating.
Hayes was loved by many and will be greatly missed. He retired from Ace Chemical Company as a truck driver and was of the Baptist faith.
Hayes was preceded in death by his parents, Furman Floyd Hayes Sr. and Lydia Hester Hayes; and a sister, Elizabeth H. Young.
Surviving are his wife of 24 years, Beatrice L. Hayes of the home; three sons, Robert L. Hayes and wife, Patti, of Pomona, Calif., Michael G. Hayes and wife, Anita, of Stanley, N.C., and Timothy R. Hayes and wife, Pam, of Monroe, N.C.; two daughters, Linda H. Springs of Charlotte, N.C., and Lydia V. Drake and husband, James, of Kings Mountain, N.C.; two stepsons, Danny White of Fort Mill and Tony White of Rock Hill; two stepdaughters, Theresa Arnold of Rock Hill and Connie White of Lexington, Ky.; two brothers, Floyd Hayes Jr. and A.C. Hayes and wife, Dot, all of Lumberton, N.C.; four sisters, Corrine Henderson of Danville, Va., Hester Tyson of Elm City, N.C., Katherine Hayward and husband, Howard, of Lumberton, and Laura Floyd of Fairmont, N.C.; nine grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Thursday at Greene Funeral Home Downtown Chapel, 355 E. White St. in Rock Hill and other times at the home.
