Furman Eldon “Teddy Bear” Lamb, 81, of Lumberton, died April 8, 2010, at Southeastern Regional Medical Center in Lumberton.
A memorial will be 2 p.m. Sunday at Floyd Memorial Chapel in Lumberton, the Rev. Charles Brust officiating.
He was born in Robeson County on Aug. 31, 1928, to the late Furman and Lacy Allen Lamb. He worked as a self-employed mechanic.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Furman and Lacy Allen Lamb; and three brothers, Morris, Ray, and Harold Lamb.
Lamb is survived by his wife, Dovie Jackson Lamb of the home; four sons, Martin Lamb and wife Della, Michael Lamb and wife Lynette, Baker Lamb and wife Connie and Dale Lamb, all of Lumberton; three sisters, Gail Foster of Raleigh, Marie Dean of Johnson City, Tenn., and Margie Floyd of Lumberton; six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
The visitation will follow the service.
