Doretha Thompson, 64, of 923 N. Chester St., formerly of Lumberton, died at John Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore.

The funeral will be 2 p.m. Monday at Holy Swamp Baptist Church, the Rev. Roscoe Smith and Pastor Brenda S. Thompson-Ford officiating. Burial will follow in the Holy Swamp Church Cemetery.
Surviving are a son, Ruffin Barnes of Baltimore; a daughter, Dorothy Davis of Dover, Pa.; two brothers, Larry Thompson and Arnold Thompson, both of Lumberton; three sisters, Bernice Small and Betty Jean Thompson-Jones, both of Lumberton, and Cedelia Swindell of Kempner, Texas; and two grandchildren.
The visitation will be from 10 a.m. to noon Monday at Colvin Funeral Home.
