LUMBERTON Mary Jo Walter, financial adviser, and Beth Williamson, senior branch office administrator of Edward Jones in Lumberton, have accepted invitations to increase their limited partner holdings in The Jones Financial Cos., the holding company for the St. Louis-based financial services firm.
Edward Jones currently employs more than 40,000 associates in all 50 states and through its affiliate in Canada. Under the current partnership offering, 16,000 associates received initial limited partnership offerings or were invited to increase their existing ownership in the firm.
Edward Jones provides financial services for individual investors in the U.S. and, through its affiliate, in Canada.

LUMBERTON The Lumberton Chamber of Commerces next Business After Hours is set for 5 p.m. Thursday at Biggs Park Mall.
Participants are asked to meet at the old Shoe Show near Radio Shack, inside the mall. As part of the event, at 6 p.m. the United Way Car Give Away will take place.
