LUMBERTON — A West Virginia woman reported that her truck was broken into and several items were stolen while she staying at a motel on Monday.
According to a police report, Angela Amparan found the rear window to the truck busted and approximately $3,500 in items stolen. Among the stolen items were clothing, a CD player and CDs. The damage to the truck was estimated at $150.

LUMBERTON — Michael Mandel Hucks, 28, of 435 Dewey Drive, was arrested Sunday and charged with felony uttering and forgery.
Hucks was jailed under a $5,000 bond.

LUMBERTON — A Lumberton woman reported that her 2-month-old pit bull was stolen on Saturday.
According to a police report, Germaine Page of Fourth Street reported that the puppy went missing a few days after a lawn mower was also stolen. The dog was valued at $250, the mower at $270.
