Margaret Stone Capps, 92, of Woodhaven Nursing Center, Lumberton, died Sunday at her residence.
The funeral will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Meadowbrook Cemetery, the Rev. Joe Bounds officiating. Burial will follow the service. Biggs Funeral Home will be directing.
Capps was born on March 4, 1910, in Robeson County. She was a member of First Baptist Church at Seventh and Walnut streets.
Surviving are a son, W. Ronald Capps of Whiteville; a daughter, Joyce Capps McDuffie of Lumberton; two sisters, Helen Stone of Lumberton, and Vanda Baker of Fayetteville; three granddaughters, Janet Capps of Durham, Jennifer Curtin of Raleigh, and Melody McDuffie of Lumberton; and two great-granddaughters, Emily Curtin and Meghan Curtin, both of Raleigh.
The family will receive friends tonight from 7 to 9 at the home of her daughter at 99 Tartan Road, Lumberton.
