LUMBBERTON — Carol Oxendine Hunt, 72, of Lumberton, passed away Aug. 3, 2013, at her home.
The funeral will be 7 p.m. Tuesday at Floyd Funeral Services Chapel, the Revs. Scott Hammonds, Elton B. Hunt and Hilton Woodell officiating. Burial will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at New Bethel Holiness Methodist Church Cemetery.
She was born June 8, 1941, in Robeson County. She was a member of New Bethel Holiness Methodist Church and worked with BB&T Bank for many years.
Carol was preceded in death by her parents, Council and Rosa Lee Brewer Oxendine; and three brothers, Steward, Elery and James Arnold “Sam” Oxendine.
She leaves to cherish her memories her husband, Carnelious Hunt Jr. of the home; a son, Ricky Hunt and wife Michelle of Fairmont; two sisters, Cleatis O. Hunt of Fairmont, and Evelyn O. Locklear of Prospect; two grandsons, Cody and Galin Hunt of Fairmont; and a special cousin and caregiver, Sandra Webb.
The visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at Floyd Funeral Services in Fairmont.
