Nelva Rae Lee Aman, 75, of 1000 Wesley Pines Road, died Dec. 27, 2007, at Duke University Medical Center in Durham.

A graveside service will be 11 a.m. today at Floyd Memorial Cemetery in Fairmont, the Rev. Chuck Herrin officiating.
Aman was born in Robeson County. She was the daughter of Dallas Lester Lee and Ruth Branch Lee. She was a graduate of Peace College in Raleigh. She worked at the Women's Prison in Raleigh, where she met her husband Thomas Aman. An astute business woman, she and Thomas operated Aman Florist and Gift Shop in Dunn. She was a member of Divine Street United Methodist Church.
Aman was a member of the Rotary International, where she served as secretary. She was also a resident of Wesley Pines Retirement Center since 2003. She again was able to attend her childhood church, Bethesda United Methodist Church, where she and Thomas were married in October of 1964.
Surviving are numerous cousins and other family members.

The family will receive friends following the service at Floyd Memorial Cemetery.
