McGirt falls to 20th on money list

GREER, S.C. Fairmont native William McGirt carded four birdies and two bogeys in Sunday’s final round of the Nationwide Tour’s BMW Charity Pro-Am to finish in a tie for 32nd and fell back to 20th on the tour’s money list.
The top 25 players on the money list at the end of the year receive their PGA Tour cards for next season.
Justin Hicks won the $108,000 first prize check with a two-shot victory over Jamie Lovemark, Tommy Gainey, Chris Kirk and Kevin Chappell.
McGirt is scheduled to compete in this week’s The Rex Hospital Open at the TPC Wakefield Plantation in Raleigh. The purse is $525,000 with $94,500 going to the winner.
