Evelyn “Tack” Collins, 66, of 1546 Wagon Wheel Road, Shannon, died Aug. 2, 2004 at Southeastern Regional Medical Center.
The funeral will be 3 p.m. Wednesday at Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Pembroke, the Bishops Willie Wynn, Tommy Bullard and Rev. Red Brooks officiating. Burial will follow at Prospect United Methodist Church Cemetery.
Collins was preceded in death by her father, James Evans Locklear.
Surviving are five daughters, Glenda Collins of the home, Barbara Goins and her husband, Donnie, Beverly Hall and her husband, Kenneth, Gertha Collins and Angela Oxendine and her husband, Micha, all of Shannon; two sons, Harold Collins of the home and Jimmy Collins and his wife, Cecilia, both of Shannon; her mother, Mary P. Locklear of Lumberton, a sister, Lola L. Morrison of Shannon; 18 grandchildren; and 14 great-great grandchildren.
The visitation will be from 7 to 9 tonight at Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Pembroke.
