John David “Johnny” McLamb, 76, of 461 Bollinger Ave., died March 16, 2006, at Southeastern Regional Medical Center.
The funeral will be 2 p.m. Monday at Clyborn Pines Church of God, the Revs. James Dodson, George Connor and Bruce Brumfield officiating. Burial will follow in Meadowbrook Cemetery.
McLamb was born in Columbus County on April 30, 1929, a son of the late Albert and Claudia Duncan McLamb Sr. He was a member of Clyborn Pines Church of God, where he was a Sunday school superintendent, and he was a retired carpenter.
He was preceded in death by two sisters, Ruby White and Ruth Millican.
Surviving are three sons, Ernest David McLamb and his wife, Vicky, Albert Lee McLamb and his wife, Brenda, and Rodney Gerald McLamb and his wife, Tina, all of Lumberton; and five grandchildren, David Craig McLamb, Nolan Ryan McLamb, Ashley Nicole McLamb, Travis Lee McLamb and Dana Marie McLamb.

The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 tonight at Biggs Funeral Home and at other times at the home.
