LUMBERTON A Lumberton teenager was charged on Thursday for shooting inside the city limits and carrying a gun, according to a police report.

Larhonda Ann Pope, 17, of Gough Street, was charged with discharging a firearm in the city and carrying a concealed weapon. She was placed under a $500 bond.

Police received a call of shots fired and arrested Pope on Elizabethtown Road at 8:45 p.m., where they seized a .22-caliber handgun, .22-caliber bullets and .22-caliber shell casings, the report said.

LUMBERTON Ron Dial, 37, of Abion Street, reported on Wednesday that several items were stolen from his home.

Missing were a $40 coin collection and $96 of prescription medication, according to a police report.

LUMBERTON Melissa Loughran, 22, of Pearl Street, reported on Thursday that several items were stolen from her home.

Missing were a $1,300 washer and dryer, a $650 computer and printer, a chest and drawers valued at $105, assorted clothes valued at $700, four porcelain dolls valued at $125, shoes valued at $45, a $300 bed, two van seats valued at $150, four video games valued at $60 and a $160 TV, according to a police report.

LUMBERTON Jeff Fike, 33, reported on Thursday that a tool belt with several tools was stolen from Stueve Construction on Old Whiteville Road.

The tools and belt were valued at $250, according to a police report.

LUMBERTON Roger Hammonds, 52, of Oak Grove Church Road, reported on Wednesday that his car was stolen from the side of U.S. 74 East.

The 1986 Lincoln Towncar was valued at $2,000, according to a sheriffs report.
