Ivan Lionel McPhaul, 37, of 206 E. Sunset Drive, died Dec. 1, 2005, at Southeastern Regional Medical Center.
The funeral will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at First Free Will Baptist Church, Elder Fredrick Wilson, Vice Bishop Fredrick Murray, Bishop Rudolph Powell and the Revs. Montel McLinnaham and Angelo Troy officiating. Burial will follow at Community Rest Cemetery in Red Springs.
Surviving are his mother and stepfather, Minnie McLaughlin Murphy and Dwain Murphy of Red Springs; his father and stepmother, Joe Nathan McPhaul and Cynthia McPhaul of Philadelphia; a sister, Keisha McPhaul of Red Springs; three stepsisters, Patricia McRae and Felicia Williams, both of Parkton, and Lolita Fields-Turner of Raleigh; five stepbrothers, Dwain Murphy of New Bern, Michael Murphy and Craig Murphy, both of Fayetteville, Chris Murphy of Pritchard, Ala., and Keenan Fields of Philadelphia; and his grandfather, Eugene McLaughlin of Red Springs.
The family will receive friends from 2 to 7 p.m. today at L.E. Floyd Funeral Home in Red Springs.
