Clinton stays tied for first

CLINTON -- Clinton remained tied with Red Springs atop the Tri-Six Conference standings with a 67-55 win over South Robeson.
Greg Coxum scored 14 points and Rock Wells 12 for the Dark Horses (16-4, 7-1 TSC), who led 17-12 after one quarter and 33-30 at halftime.
Robert Baker scored 28 points for the Mustangs (2-12, 0-8), who trailed 51-37 entering the fourth quarter. They shot 26-for-32 on free throws for the game.
Clinton plays at Red Springs on Tuesday.
