Linda Faye Locklear, 56, of 25 D Hawkeye Sands, died Nov. 22, 2005, at Duke University Medical Center.
The funeral will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Hoke County Holiness Church in Red Springs, the Revs. Truman Chavis, Gregg Locklear, Clyde Hunt and Wallace Locklear officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Surviving are a son, Vinson Dean Jacobs; six brothers, Jensen Locklear of Red Springs, Clyde Hunt Jr. of Selma, Larry Wayne Hunt of Wilson Mills, Kevin Eugene Hunt of Augusta, Ga., Alex “Son Jr.” Scott and Bracey Scott, both of Maxton; seven sisters, Serena Carter of Shannon, Genice Faye Hunt and Maggie Locklear, both of Pembroke, Rose Mary Deese, Elaine McGirt and Angela Hunt, all of Fairmont, and Lessie M. Locklear of Maxton; and six grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at Heritage Funeral Home, 812 S. Main St., Red Springs.
