WHITEVILLE A 15-year-old Bladen County girl missing since Feb. 7 was returned to her family last week after deputies with the Bladen County Sheriffs Office found her with an Orrum man who was charged with abducting a minor.
According to Chief Deputy Phillip Little of the Bladen County Sheriffs Office, Jonathan Michael Ivey, 20, of 20586 N.C. 130 East, was arrested on Feb. 22. in Whiteville. Deputies said they found the young girl with Ivey at the time of his arrest.

FAYETTEVILLE Deputies with the Cumberland County Sheriffs Office seized more than $22,000 in drugs from a Lumberton mans truck after a traffic stop near Waldos Beach on Tuesday.
According to the Fayetteville Observer, Don Sampson, 46, of the 3400 block of Carthage Road, was arrested after deputies stopped his truck near Camden and Champs Road.
The report said deputies found about 20 pounds of marijuana packed into boxes inside of Sampsons truck. About 1.67 ounces of cocaine was found in his shirt pocket.
Sampson was taken to the Cumberland County jail and placed under a $75,000 bond, according to the report.

LUMBERTON Cash and cigarettes were taken from a convenience store on Tuesday during an early morning armed robbery.
According to a sheriffs report, a store employee was approached by a gunman dressed in black as she was opening the store at about 5:45 a.m. The robber, armed with a long barreled gun, stole money from a back room and demanded more cash from the cash register, the report said.
The man stole about 10 cartons of Newport cigarettes, cigars and about $200 in cash before he fled on foot, according to the report.

LUMBERTON Tony Lee Hill, 43, of Wilmington, was arrested on Monday and charged with assault on a law enforcement officer, resisting, delaying and obstructing a public officer and injury to personal property.
According to a police report, lawmen responded to a hit-and-run accident in front of the Sonic restaurant on Roberts Avenue at about 11 p.m. When officers arrived , they found Hill lying in grass beside Kings Crossing Road.
The report said Hill became violent after telling lawmen he was the driver. The report said he punched an officer in the chest and began fighting with lawmen, later kicking out the back window of a patrol vehicle.
Hill was taken to the Robeson County jail and placed under a $7,000 bond. An arrest report said Hill appeared to be under the influence of drugs or alcohol.

RED SPRINGS Someone stole a 1995 Chevrolet Caprice from Sharon Locklear on Tuesday, according to a sheriffs report.
The vehicle was valued at about $5,000, the report said.

SHANNON Someone stole a Hoke County mans vehicle on Tuesday.
According to a sheriffs report, Alexander Mcarn, 47, left the 2000 Mitsubushi Monteiro on Wagon Wheel Road and later found it missing at about 8 a.m.
The report said the vehicle was valued at about $5,000.

LUMBERTON More than $500 in damage was reported to a vehicle belonging to Edward Leroy Dixon on Tuesday, according to a police report.
Dixon, 64, of East First Street, told officers that someone attempted to steal his 1995 Chevrolet Z7, breaking the steering wheel column and pulling wires from the ignition switch, the report said.
Dixon said he noticed the damage after he saw the vehicles lights flashing at about 11:35 p.m.
