Frances Ivey, 72, of 75 Jerome St., Lumberton, died Sunday at her home.
The funeral will be at 3 p.m. Tuesday at Floyd Memorial Chapel, the Revs. LeRoy Burke and Everette Bass officiating. Burial will follow at New Hollywood Cemetery.
Ivey was born Nov. 4, 1930, in Robeson County.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Willis Pope Ivey Sr. and Elenta Guyton Ivey; and three sisters, Doris Freeman, Retha Walters and Patsy Pittman.
Surviving are a foster son, Jason Pittman of Lumberton; three foster daughters, Pamela “Penny” Rogers, Patricia Lynn Barnes and Rachel Sanchez, all of Lumberton; five brothers, Robert “Bob” Ivey of the home, and Willis Pope Ivey Jr., William “Bill” Ivey, Bennie “Monk” Ivey and Harry L. Ivey, all of Lumberton; a sister, Glenda Allen of Lumberton; three grandchildren; two special friends, Faye Dean Blackmon and Rosa McNeill; and 18 nieces and nephews.
The visitation will be from 7 to 9 tonight at Floyd Mortuary and Crematory and at other times at the home, 75 Jerome St., Lumberton.
