Carter named director

LUMBERTON Rhonda Carter was recently appointed director of information systems at Southeastern Regional Medical Center.
Carter has served in various roles during her 30 years of employment at the medical center, including systems application manager and systems analyst. She most recently served as enterprise project and integration manager before being named director this month.
She was also the 2006 recipient of the John D. Drake Distinguished Service Award, Southeasterns highest employee honor.
A native of Lumberton, Carter earned a bachelors degree in mathematics from UNC Pembroke in 1979. She lives in St. Pauls with her husband Johnny and daughter, Jessica.

Southeastern S.E.L.F. Recovery open house set for April 9

LUMBERTON Southeastern Regional Medical Center will host an open house at Southeastern S.E.L.F. (Supervised Enhanced Living Facility) Recovery on Thursday from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. at 661 Burns Road in Lumberton.
Southeastern S.E.L.F. Recovery is a supervised living facility, managed by Southeastern Recovery Alternatives, for adult men. The facility will offer substance abuse intensive outpatient services for residents for a minimum of 90 days.
