Celebrate classic Hollywood style and dance the night away at the PrivilegesPlus and Southeastern Lifestyle Fitness Center’s annual dinner set for Saturday at 6 p.m. at the fitness center, located at 4895 Fayetteville Road in Lumberton.
The dance is open to all adults who are interested in enjoying a night filled with food, fun and fitness. The event will feature a catered dinner by Golden Corral of Lumberton, music provided by DJ Larry Green of Music on the Strand, free portraits, door prizes and much more.
Tickets can be purchased at the fitness center and are $20 for the general public, $10 for PrivilegesPlus members and $15 for fitness center members and Southeastern Health employees. Guests are encouraged to dress in Hollywood glam attire.
The annual dance is just one of many benefits available to members of the PrivilegesPlus program, which is a health and wellness program for adults age 50 and older that is affiliated with SeHealth. PrivilegesPlus was designed in order to better serve patients and guests of the health care organization while offering a variety of health-related opportunities, activities and consumer benefits to adults throughout the region.
For $10 a year, any adult age 50 and older can join PrivilegesPlus, which offers an array of educational and social events to its members. With a PrivilegesPlus membership, members are issued personalized membership cards that allow them exclusive access to the various programs as well as discounts at SeHealth and restaurants and businesses locally and nationwide.
Discounts available to PrivilegesPlus members from entities of SeHealth include a reduced application fee at the fitness center; 10 percent off non-prescription items at either of Southeastern’s two retail pharmacies, Southeastern Pharmacy and Southeastern Pharmacy Health Mall; 25 percent off all retail items at Southeastern Home Medical Equipment; 10 percent off non-sale items at The Gift Shop at Southeastern Regional Medical Center; and a $10 blood analysis, which includes cholesterol, HDL, LDL, triglycerides and glucose levels, through Southeastern’s lab department.
The newest discount extended to PrivilegesPlus members is 10 percent off the services available at Southeastern Lifestyle Day Spa, which is located behind the fitness center in Lumberton.
PrivilegesPlus not only partners with affiliates of SeHealth to extend discounts to members but currently has more than 23 local businesses, including a variety of restaurants, entertainment options and retail stores, offering discounts to its members.
