Home tour to feature diverse decorations

LUMBERTON — The Robeson County History Museum will hold its eighth annual holiday home tour “Christmas All Around Town” from 1 to 5 p.m. on Saturday.

The tour will feature six sites in Lumberton. They include: the McDuffie home at 600 Yorkshire Place; the Stephenson home at 5005 White Oak Drive in the Oaks, the Weathington home at 206 E. 19th St.; the Straub home at 1901 N. Barker St.; the main meeting hall of St. Alban’s Lodge No. 114 Masonic Lodge at 600 N. Elm St.; and the Proctor Law Office at the corner of Sixth and Elm streets.

A reception area, hosted by Cakes and Pastries Unlimited, will be set up during the tour at the Robeson County History Museum at 101 S. Elm St. Vendors will also be selling holiday gifts.

Poet Evelyn Smith will also be at the museum for a book signing.

Tour tickets are $10 with the proceeds benefiting the museum. Tickets can be purchased at the Robeson County Library, Lumberton Area Visitors Bureau and Biggs Park Mall office.
