Thefts


Datris Stone reported Saturday that a ring, valued at $25, was stolen from Belk on North Elm Street, according to a police report.


William Kinlay reported Saturday that someone stole the tags, valued at $28, off of Badcock Furniture’s company van while it was parked at the store on Roberts Avenue in Lumberton, according to a police report.


Sharee Harris and Joshua Chavis, of Mt. Zion Church Road, Red Springs, reported Friday that someone stole $100 in cash, a $200 cell phone and a $600 gun from them while at Swank the Bistro on Pine Street in Lumberton, according to a police report.


Jeff Byrd, of West 22nd Street, Lumberton, reported Friday that his bike, valued at $100, was stolen from his yard, according to a police report.


Angelia Drina Brown, of Rice Road, reported Friday that her truck, valued at $10,000, was stolen from the parking lot at Southeastern Regional Medical Center on West 27th Street in Lumberton, according to a police report.


Lee Todd reported Thursday that someone broke into two cars at Lumberton Chevrolet, on Linkhaw Road, causing $300 in damage, and stole $1,898 in stereo equipment from one of the cars, according to a police report.


Vandalism


Lisa Bass, of Redwood Way, Lumberton, reported Saturday that someone poured chemicals into her pond, causing $5,000 in damage and killing 32 fish, valued at $4,800, according to a police report.


Angela Bethea Thompson, of Carolina Avenue reported Saturday that someone scratched the hood of her car, causing $800 in damage, according to a police report.
