LUMBERTON — Students in the Public Schools of Robeson County will get to enjoy a fourth day in the snow, according to a spokesperson.
There will be no classes on Friday, but teachers will have an optional workday with a two-hour delay, Public Relations Officer Tasha Oxendine said.
The University of North Carolina will operate on a normal schedule Friday after starting classes at 12:30 p.m. on Thursday. Robeson Community College, which was closed Thursday, will also operate on a regular schedule Friday.
The public schools’ decision came shortly after classes were cancelled in nearby Cumberland and Scotland counties.
