One hundred-and-third-nine employees and 18 retirees were honored at Southeastern Health’s annual service awards banquet.

Southeastern Health administrators and Susan Hayes, director of Employee Services, presented service pins on Feb. 27 during an after-dinner ceremony held in the hospital’s dining room. Those in attendance made dinner selections from a variety of entrees prepared by Southeastern Health’s Food and Nutrition Services staff.

Employees celebrating a five-year anniversary milestone of 15 or more years were honored at the ceremony by receiving service pins. Former employees who retired during 2013 were also recognized. More than 2,200 employees work on Southeastern Health’s main campus and affiliated agencies.

Phyllis W. Richardson, of Patient Care Services, was honored for 45 years of service.

Gale L. Blackmon, who works with Food and Nutrition Services, and Anne Marie Hendren, of Revenue Cycle, were honored for 40 years of service.

Ramona P. Gonzalez, with Patient Care Services,; Loraine B. Lowery, of Pulmonary Services; Carol F. Patterson, of Maternal/Child Health; and Judy Pittman, of Infection Control received service pins for 35 years of service.

Receiving 30-year pins were: Kaye B. Allen, in Anesthesia; Michael Davis, of Engineering and Facility Management; Levern Graham, in Laboratory; Archie W. McRae, with Patient Care Services; Annette B. Melvin, of Southeastern Occupational Health WORKS; Patricia Ramsaur, in Food and Nutrition Services; and Jim N. Tripp, in Pharmacy.
