LUMBERTON — In celebration of Men’s Health Month, a healthy breakfast will be served while Dr. Dennis Stuart speaks about preventative screenings and wellness for men.

The breakfast, sponsored by Biggs Park Mall and Southeastern Health’s Community Health Education Center, will begin at 8 a.m. on Wednesday in the retail space beside JCPenney at Biggs Park Mall. For information, call 910-671-9393.

FAYETTEVILLE — Dr. Riyaz Jinnah, an orthopedic surgeon with Southeastern Orthopedics, will host a free seminar on a minimally-invasive knee surgery on July 2.

The partial knee resurfacing procedure is completed by a robotic arm, MAKOplasty, and can provide quicker rehabilitation and more natural knee motion post-surgery compared with total knee replacement.

The seminar will be held from 6 to 7 p.m. at Hampton Inn Fayetteville-Cross Creek Mall at 1700 Skibo Road. Check-in will begin at 5:30 p.m. and refreshments will be served. Support group and class

for breastfeeding moms

LUMBERTON — Southeastern Health’s Maternal and Child Health Services division will sponsor a support group and class for breastfeeding mothers and their family members the first Monday of each month beginning July 6.
