LUMBERTON — The annual Stuff the Bus campaign, during which people are asked to donate school supplies to the Communities In Schools so they can reach needy childrey, will continue through Saturday.
Donors can drop off pencils, pens, paper, folders, notebooks, scissors, crayons, glue and other school supplies at The Robesonian at 2175 N. Roberts Ave. in Lumberton from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. from today to Friday and from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday.
After dropping off a donation, donors are given a raffle card to fill out with their name and phone number. A raffle is drawn daily, and the winner will take home a grand prize valued at $50. It is not necessary to be present to win.
If a donor can’t make it to the store, they can donate to the program by mailing their contribution to Communities In Schools of Robeson County, P.O. Box 706, Lumberton, N.C., 28359.
