ROWLAND — No arrests have been made after a Rowland woman was found dead on Thursday, according to the Robeson County Sheriff’s Office.

The Sheriff’s Office is investigating 43-year-old Pasty Nicole Reaves’ death as a homicide.

Reaves’ body was found by her boyfriend inside her home on the 200 block of Saturn Drive off of Purvis Road at about 11:45 a.m. Thursday, according to a statement from Maj. Anthony Thompson, chief of detectives for the Sheriff’s Office.

No information was released about what injuries Reaves may have suffered. Thompson said an autopsy was being performed to determine the cause of death. Thompson declined to release any additional information.
