LUMBERTON — The Robeson County Board of Commissioners will receive its audit for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2015, during its meeting on Monday.

The meeting will begin at 6 p.m. at the county administration building on North Elm Street in Lumberton.

The commissioners will also hear a request from Valerie Comrie, program director for the Robeson County Family Treatment Court, for continued funding for the program.

Seven public hearings will be held, including two for conditional-use permits to allow for the establishment of solar farms in Orrum and Burnt Swamp. Conditional-use permits are also being requested to allow for the establishment of family cemeteries in Lumberton, Orrum and Rennert; allow for a used-car dealership with a window tinting graphic business in West Howellsville; and to allow sand excavation on six acres of a 50-acre tract in Burnt Swamp.

The commissioners will also:

— Consider a request from St. Pauls officials that the town be responsible for conducting fire inspections of the three public schools located within its jurisdiction.

— Consider three appointments to the Red Springs Board of Adjustment.

— Consider a resolution approving two retiring members of the Sheriff’s Office to receive their handguns in honor of their years of service. Lt. Dru Martin of the Patrol Division and Sgt. Michael Davis of the Violent Crime Task Force are both retiring May 31.

— Consider a proposal from RS&M Appraisal Services Inc. to provide the county tax administrator with manpower and appraisal expertise to carry out the county’s 2018 revaluation. If approved, services provided by RS&M would cost the county $142,250.

— Consider a resolution adding Showcase Circle, also known as Crescent Circle, to the state-maintained secondary road system.

— Consider a resolution recognizing the Southeastern Family Violence Center for 35 years of service.

— Hear a presentation from Tony Pickett, a Saddletree resident, concerning beaver-related problems plaguing that community.
