LUMBERTON — Heavy rainfall has caused wastewater to spill on Harrill Road, according to a statement from the city of Lumberton.

Following a pump failure, a sewer spill occurred at 446 Harrill Road on Friday and Saturday, leaking 2,500 gallons of wastewater from 11 p.m. to 1 a.m.
