FAIRMONT — The town of Fairmont is hosting a jobs fair Wednesday at the South Robeson Heritage Center.

The fair is a partnership of the town, the N.C. Works Career Center and the Southeast Regional Re-Entry Council and will take place from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

About 20 to 25 employers are expected attend, including the North Carolina Department of Public Safety, Lowes, Smithfied, Hard Hat, Pilkington, Perdue, Megaforce, Prestage Foods, BMCO Construction, Butterball, Two Hawk Employment Service, Verizon, Campbell Soup, Roadmaster, Plastek, and Sanderson Farms.

Attendees are asked to dress professionally and bring resumes. The Heritage Center is located at 207 S. Main St.
